Having seen both bands a few times, I'm much more excited about seeing Shannon Wright in a couple weeks than I would be if The Ex were coming. The Ex completely knocked me out the first couple of times I saw them - particularly the first, I was completely stunned and thrilled; but the last time I saw them I wasn't so knocked out. I enjoyed it, but I wasn't knocked out. With Shannon Wright it's been (so far) the other way around - the first time I was floored, and the more I've seen her, the more amazed I am at how powerful a performer she is, & the more knocked out I am.
