What makes me sick is that we had whiffs of this as far back (in my recollection) as 1975. Worldwatch predicted accelerating climate deterioration on this and other counts as far back as its "State of the World 1987."
Most Americans can't tell you the difference between Ozone layer depletion (which is turning around thanks to CFC reductions) and global warming, which is getting worse thanks to, well, thanks to you know who, plus accelerating global industrialization, to say nothing of overpopulation.
