Yes i've visited probably 15 times through the college years of yore--btwn 97 and 00 (did some time in RI so it was close). last time was february of 2001 with a planned visit nixed by days with 9/11. each visit was between 3-7 days. goods times on all. i liked that i got to leave though. really don't think i've got the guts for it. two things keep jumping in my head: the money!!! and the hassle (w/my definition of a hassle) to get from a to b would have potential negative effects on my soul.
but missed opportunities also has negative effects on the soul. the city isn't going anywhere but i'm not getting younger. damn. a quandry.
and (tca) the $900 in east village was my stake i should note. $2K on the total.
