I agree that Mr. Albini is the BLANG-CHUG CHAMPION, but I think that the decision to work with Troy Glessner has the most to do with logistics, familiarity and friendship. I think Troy's job recording Blackbird sounds great, esp the 12XU version, as mastered at Abbey Road.
