This fantasy/nightmare (even tongue-in-cheek) that hillary will ever be the nominee has to stop. Have you seen this woman speak? She is not 1/4 the communicator her husband was. And hell yes, as bad as the rest of them are, they're better than her.
Moreover, there's a sense of distrust towards anyone associated with Clinton presidency among indie/undecided voters, and that may NEVER die down. Those indie/undecided dopes are who decide the election, not guys like you or me, Tim.
Al Gore got out because he knew the last paragraph was true, especially the first sentence of it. A lot of people were saying up until the last moment before he dropped out "Gore's a lock to get the Dem nom." It's the same sort of logic that leads people to thinking Hillary is the sort of candidate who will handle either the national primaries or the general elections with aplomb-- it'll never happen...
