i've hesitated to say anything in this forum as it often seems that everyone knows one another. i last saw michael over a bathroom stall at the knitting factory while he was taking a shit. actually, he apparently saw be first and burst into a ridiculous laugh similar to my own. "how fuckin tall are you?" he asked. oddly, i stumbled in my normally quick response. this indie band, silkworm, was my bridge to falling in love with great, heartfelt music. "6'8"" i replied. "jesus" he said. "could you play bloody rain," i asked. "maybe." i am a cocky fuck but your band touched me in a huge way. i am thankful. i never write on this sorta thing. i just want you to know that what you created bettered my life and opened me up more than i knew was there. i have met you twice tim. my name is CJ thank you again.
