michael was always my entertainer on my bi-yearly visits back home to illinois. i knew that if i needed to be saved from the suburbs a quick call to him would turn into a night of spontaneous partner dancing in some dive bar or something along those lines. on one of these occasions he drove me an hour and half out of his way late into the night because i missed the last metra train. a beautiful, gentlemanly gesture toward a woman he hardly knew. ah, michael. the smile, the charms, the gracious goofiness. we are all really lucky. in whatever capacity he came to us, well, he CAME to us. energetically, all of us thinking and feeling our michael memories must be propelling him into a gentle, beautiful place...and the same for john and doug too. my thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of michael, john and doug. love the ones around you and the far away ones too. let's do these guys proud. thanks for finding me michael.
